Purple Rain

Bright lights, big dreams/ Nice night, or so it seems.
- J. Cole in "Purple Rain"

FYI, that isn't my underwear, I had to Photoshop the color of my booty shorts lol :)

This post is dedicated to the third outfit in my Valentine's Day Lookbook posted on Youtube.
Fancy night out? Dinner date perhaps?
Well, either way, this outfit may be for you.

The Hubby bought me a dress for Christmas and I haven't had the opportunity to wear it yet on its own so here it is ! Purple is one of those colors that easily complements all skin tones.

I didn't want my uniform to be entirely uniform in color, so I went for leopard print wedges in addition to my golden accessories.

I love the shape of this clutch. It's something fun to look at. This was actually bought for my high school graduation in 2008, and I love that I left for university, came home almost 5 years later, and it's still there! Thanks MOMMY ! :)

Let me know if you would Rock this outfit :)

This is what I was wearing:
Purple Asymmetric Dress | BCBG
Gold Skinny Waist Belt | Primark
Golden Clutch | Senegal Mall
Leopard Print Wedges | Select

In My Blue Suede Shoes

As seen in my recent V-day Video Lookbook, this outfit is date night-friendly. I love mixing prints with colors, and breaking the "fashion rules" people have set. Some people can't stand to see this many colors in one outfit... I say, wear whatever the heck you want. If you OWN the outfit, the skeptics will eventually embrace it. It's all in your confidence in self-expression.

I love these shoes but I haven't had many occasions to wear them recently so I jumped at this one. I've worn these with jeans, pants etc but hadn't worn them with something short just yet, and figured it was time I changed that.

Peplum is one of those trends I've had mixed feelings about for the longest time. The truth of the matter is, I dislike peplum tops as I usually think they look a little silly, whereas the skirts.... Oh My.. I just love them as I find that they really compliment the hips (or create the illusion of hips when applicable).

I am a fan of Aztec Print, or any other Tribal print, but it occurred to me before I left London that I didn't own any so when I saw this crop top, I had to get it. I instantly knew I'd be wearing it tucked into a peplum skirt at the first chance I got to do so.

Being the HUGE-BAG lover that I am, I couldn't resist grabbing this oversized clutch when I saw it. I knew it would be ideal for my night outs, or fancy errand running days. Somebody asked me, "Why so many colors?" and all I could say was "Why not?"

Would you wear this ?
Let me know !

Thank you for dropping by ! :)

What I was wearing:

Casually Pink

Every so often, we find that Less is, in fact, More.

Very recently (aka a few hours ago) I posted a Valentine's Day Lookbook on my new Youtube Channel and I wanted to feature the looks on here so that you could get all the details :)

There are a lot of couples out there who don't necessarily want to do the usual "dinner date" and instead plan to engage in activities that may require a bit more walking etc. This is also a Pants-wearing female friendly outfit, particularly if you aren't the girly type. I picked high-waist pants because they instantly add a bit of a chic feel to the outfit without having to dress up entirely.

For a pop of color, I went with a pink fringe crop top as I didn't want an all black look for this particular occasion.

I'm no longer living in a cold country but it occasionally gets a little chilly so I grabbed a slouchy knit cardigan   just to keep the look dressed down.

I'm a HUGE-HANDBAG type of girl but when I saw this little mini handbag, I had to get it. It's perfect when you aren't carrying much, and need a quick thing to throw your phone, wallet, keys, and lip balm in.

These wedged creepers are probably the most comfortable pair of shoes I've ever owned. Originally I wanted to get them in all white but there weren't any that actually had a WHITE wedge, so I got the all blacks as they were the next best thing. These are for my less girly days, when I don't wanna wear 6 inch heels, but don't wanna wear my dunks either.

What I am wearing:

Pink Fringe Crop Top | Primark
Brown Slouchy Knit Cardigan | eBay
Black Riding Pant | American Apparel
Black Alexander Bag | £5 Store
Black Creeper Wedge | eBay

Thank you all
:)
